THE HERO DIES...
BUT THE STORY GOES ON
FOREVER
/ 2008
scenery with multichannel video of prerecorded actors and time delay recording of the visitor.

In ‘The hero dies…’ two fictional characters are introduced. The work is split up into the stage, functioning as a lifelike setting of an ordinary living space, and 4 movie fragments. These bring together the spectator and the fictional characters into one frame. The spectator, who is invited into the story without any special requirements or effort, blends in the narrative but while watching the film fragments later, realizes he or she has a crucial role to play in the story.
