For W.O.R.M., Sarah & Charles invited composer Lieven Dousselaere to create a haunting, repetitive song for the animated worm character in the short film Annelida.Through its unfolding, the music catalysed a broader transformation of the project’s form and intent. Dousselaere’s compositional method displaced traditional instrumentation using speech-to-speech algorithms, generating a hybrid audio space where voice and instrument collapse into one another.
